WEST BAY FACILITIES

Just outside the Holiday Park is the Harbour, with many food outlets, Off licence, Shops, Butchers, Fishmongers, Greengrocer and Amusements.

Within 2 minutes walk are the beaches. East Beach consists of a fine shingle ridged beach leading to a sandy edge to the water and stretches as far as the eye can see. West Beach is to the right of the new harbour (Jurassic Pier), and is a smooth pebbly beach, leading to shingle and sandy waters edge. Ideal for younger children, who benefit from the protective cove.

Crabbing in the harbour is very popular, along with a Fun Fair that visits West Bay during the school summer holidays.
Known as the Jurassic Coast or Dinosaur Coast the area is ideal for fossil hunting.

Adults are also catered for, with Sea fishing/angling, Deep sea diving, Water sports, Paragliding off West Cliff, Golf, Coastal/countryside walks and River boating.
